I love camping and I love Indian food. I looked all over for freeze dried chicken tikka masala, but as far as I can tell Shelf2Table is the only company that offers it. I have tried retort pouches that claim to be chicken tikka masala, but they taste nothing like the chicken tikka masala that you’d get in an Indian restaurant. It’s amazing how fresh tasting Shelf2Table freeze dried chicken tikka masala is. The packages are just right for a single meal. I bought these for camping and backpacking, but honestly I just eat them at home too because they are so delicious. I have bought them over and over again and I hope Shelf2Table never stops making lyophilized chicken tikka masala!

Chicken Tikka Masala is just about my favorite food, so I thought it would be good to have it freeze dried. None of the big companies made it though. I used the Google machine and found Shelf2Table. I ordered 5. I mean to tell you, it’s DELICIOUS. I can hardly tell the difference from fresh chicken tikka masala from an Indian restaurant. The portion is just the right size: filling but not TOO filling. I’m not saving it for a disaster or even a camping trip! I eat it at home because it’s so good!
